Assembly Tips
Tmat Assembly Instructions
First let's look at the three most common layouts we see in each truck bed type. If installing in a Van or RV, check out our Tmat RV Installation Guide for tips on how to custom cut your Tmat and secure it down to your vehicle.

Straight Wall Layout:
When you have selected the layout best suited for your truck, continue on to assembly while keeping these Assembly Tips in mind:
- Use the 12" x 2" Tmat strips on the cab side of your truck bed.
- Your Tmat should have less than 2" (two inches) of spacing between the assembled mat and your truck bed walls, wheel wells, and tailgate. Use the included 12" x 2" strips for this purpose.
- Call or email if you are experiencing difficulties assembling your Tmat and we would be happy to help!
Assembling Your Tmat
Step 1. Gather your panels up and stack them on your tailgate or nearby. Keep the male dovetails facing to the bottom and the left.
Step 2. Begin assembling the panels outside of your vehicle or on your tailgate row by row, working left to right. Keep the male dovetails facing to the bottom and the left as you assemble.
Step 3. Working back to front, assemble the full-row panels by snapping the entire rows together. Make sure all the panels are completely secure with one another by pressing firmly down.
Step 4. Insert the blockers wherever you need by lining up the blocker pegs with the panels and inserting them with an even pressure.
