Integrating Tmat and Decked Systems

Does Tmat Work With Decked Drawer Systems or the CargoGlide Bed Slides?

Tmat can be installed on top of Decked Drawers or CargoGlide Bed Slide systems (within enclosed beds) in order to optimize the usable space on top of your drawer or bed slide by providing powerful organization options.  Follow these steps and read the FAQ at the bottom of this page to get the most out of your Tmat enhanced Decked system.

Reminder, Tmat is designed to be used in an enclosed area such as a truck bed covered by a cap or Tonneau cover.

Picking Your Tmat Components for Decked

Drawer Systems:

A Decked drawer system fits over your wheel wells and provides a rectangular surface on which to mount a Tmat system.  This makes picking out your Tmat kit is very simple, as it's just the length of your bed.  Therefore if you have a 6' 5" truck bed, the Standard Beds 6' to 6' 5" kit would work perfectly for your needs.

CargoGlide:

Decked CargoGlide comes in many different variations, but the most common and their corresponding kits/components can be found below.

Width 48"
Length 62"
Recommended Components  - 20 Panels, 2x Strip Pack

Width 48"
Length 72"
Recommended Components - 24 Panels

Width 48"
Length 95"
Recommended Components - 28 Panels, 10x Strip Pack
(If you are willing to cut panels, purchase 32 panels and trip 4 of them to fit - this is the best possible price and adds stability to the system)

NOTE:  Due to CargoGlide being exactly 48" in width, it may be necessary to trim the male dovetails off the left side of your Tmat setup. This can be accomplished easily through an electric hand saw or circular saw.

Installing Your Tmat On Decked

Tmat is easy to integrate into your Decked Drawer or CargoGlide Bed Slide systems!  Let's break down the steps of bringing your Tmat and Decked systems into perfect alignment.

Step 1: Assemble your Tmat panels and strips and lay them out in the desired configuration on your Decked drawer system or CargoGlide.

Step 2: Trim any panels or dovetails necessary to achieve the tightest possible fit on your Decked or CargoSlide.

Step 3: Fully assemble your Tmat on the CargoGlide bed slide or Decked Drawer system.

Step 4:  Secure Tmat to your Decked drawer system or CargoGlide bed slide. This is important to prevent Tmat from sliding over the gap between your system and the tailgate. This can be done by either utilizing the existing bolt or screw positions in the system, or by adding new ones. Tmat should only be used within an enclosed area such as a truck bed covered by a truck cap or tonneau cover.

FAQ:

Q: Do I still have 30 days to return my Tmat for a refund if I use it with a Decked System?
A: Yes, we will still honor the 30-day no hassle return policy even if you have drilled into your Tmat to secure it to a Decked system.

Q: Can I use Tmat for tall and heavy items on top of my Decked Drawers?
A: Cargo that is exceptionally tall or heavy should be strapped down to your Decked system.  Cargo that is taller than your truck bed should not be placed on top of a Decked Drawer or CargoGlide system without also being strapped down.
