Tmat ® Cargo Organization US & International Patents
The Tmat Cargo Organization System is protected by U.S. Patent No. 12,734,954, issued September 15, 2026, covering Tmat's cargo management system, including its modular mat and locking attachment design.
Tmat's patent family remains open and active. Additional patent applications are pending, including a U.S. continuation application with claims that have not yet been published, and international patent applications, which preserves Tmat's rights in markets worldwide.
Pending applications may issue with claims that differ from, and are broader than, the claims of the issued patent. Designing a product around the issued claims does not ensure that the product will not infringe claims that issue from pending applications. Under U.S. law, Tmat may also be entitled to a reasonable royalty for use of inventions claimed in published pending applications, dating back to the publication date, once those claims issue.
