Cleaning Your Tmat System

We sometimes get asked about debris in the Tmat grids and how to go about cleaning your Tmat should the need arise.  

Does the Tmat Work With Dirt/Debris?

The blockers work even with a moderate amount of dirt and debris in the grids.

Cleaning your Tmat system is incredibly easy!  For most normal dirt and dust you can simply pull out your Tmat system and wash it down with a hose as seen in the example below:

What if my Tmat gets dirt stuck in the grid?

It's harder than you might imagine to get enough dirt or debris stuck in your Tmat to where it won't function correctly.  Should that happen, it's incredibly easy to take the Tmat out, tap out any debris, and use a power washer to clean out any remining obstructions.  Take a look at at the video below to see how much dirt Tmat can handle.
