Excellent Product and Easy Installation
Very happy with my purchase of the Tmat. The installation was a breeze and it fit perfectly in the bed of my truck. The stationery and adjustable blockers hold everything in place and I no longer need to struggle to reach items I’ve placed in the bed of the truck.
Great solution
I’m so happy I stumbled across this product. I’ve always struggled especially with smaller items sliding around and tipping over in the bed. This makes securing those items so much easier. I don’t need to use straps or awkward cargo bars to keep things being sent to the front of the bed when I hit the breaks. What I didn’t know I needed but is so useful is the ability to just slide the entire mat out a bit to gain access to the items near the front. I no longer have to undo the cover and climb up or try to fish things back with a stick. Very happy.
Tmat in 2018 Sliverado 2500
100% happy with this product. It allows me a modular way to store the tools and equipment I like to have in my truck but don't necessarily need every day. For the price, I don't think it can be beat. I also appreciate that I was able to keep a couple of panels out to keep access to my gooseneck hitch. Could not reccomend enough.
I had to get one for my wife!
This is actually my second Tmat. I got a setup for my Tundra after I saw it in a friends truck. It kept everything in place in the bed and the way he set his up, you could actually pull it out of the bed a bit so you didn’t have to keep climbing in the grab things at the back of the bed. That’s exactly how I set my truck up, I keep my tools and extra straps in the back of the bed locked into the corner with a few adapters, and keep my boots, edc bag, and the straps I use all the time tucked inside of other corner holders right at the tailgate, no more climbing In the bed to grab stuff all the time. Another thing I really liked was that it’s really minimal height loss under my tonneau cover. I’ve had slides that pull all the way out but I lost a lot of height under the tonneau cover with that approach, I’ve also looked at systems that put drawers in the bed and leave an open deck on top but that really eats up a lot of bed depth. The Tmat has been great. Certainly last but not least when I need to stop at the lumber yard it only takes about 30 seconds to remove all of my adapters and essentially have my entire bed to use if need be! Which brings me to the title of my review, when my wife saw this she was blown away, her “cargo holder thingamajigs” slip and slide all over the cargo area in her 4 runner. Needless to say she wanted the Tmat upgrade immediately! We both love these things!
Love this product
This product is great! I have been looking for a new way to secure tool boxes and other boxes in the bed of my truck for a long long time - using tie downs, cargo ratchet bars, etc. and nothing has worked like i wanted. With this system its easy to move, easy to adjust and there is plenty of options to secure different types of cargo.
Works!!
Great storage solution! I bought the complete bed kit for my Nissan Frontier as well as a few extra tiles and stops. The tiles are easy to install and cutting them to fit is a breeze. I built a cross bed storage shelve to add extra storage for my overlanding camping gear. I also bought some of the Tmat DIY blockers to screw into the bottom of some of my camp boxes. With the system in place it's goodbye to bungee cords and/or tying things in. I'm very happy with the purchase and strongly recommend it.
Great addition!
Easy and quick install. I left the front open (short) as I have a container up there with moving blankets, straps etc. and didn't want to slide it out every time I slid the Tmat out. Instead I used Tmat diy blockers in the front to bump the full Tmat sheet up against the container. I also used them at the rear to create a movable lip to block things in. (holds my golf clubs in place at the rear perfectly) I used landscape edging for this as its holes are double wide to the Tmat holes, it's light weight and works perfectly. The extra tiles I didnt use are in use in the rear of my wife's hatch back. Overall quite the product and I would purchase again! Only thing I might consider is drainage holes in the tiles and making the small strips slightly shorter as they are just a whisker longer than the tiles. Otherwise close to perfect!
Pretty good but....
Let me start by saying it's a brilliant idea! The quality of the items is what I would expect. Easy to put together, not heavy, doesn't take up the entire depth of my bed. Now for the difficult part, what I don't like. It's not as versatile as suggested. The choice between a 12x12 or 12x2 is kinda silly. Make some 12x6 or other various sizes. I had to order additional 12x2 just to get the perfect fit. Tolerances, I understand that there are many factors to it fitting perfectly but I'm gonna have to to trim the bottom row because the dovetails make it too long. Lastly, the 12x2 panels seem to be made of a different material than the 12x12 and they don't fit quite the same. Overall though, I'm happy with my purchase and after some modifications it'll fit like I want it to.
